    Bandaidboy's new sketchbook

Hey everyone, a lot has happened since my last post in here. I am currently studying art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (I transferred here last semester). Despite the reputation for being extremely conceptual and stuck up, I have survived thus far, and have actually learned a lot.

I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to post any of my work, let alone document it. Right now I'm working on taking photos/scanning my work, so I may start posting again.

Here's a link to my old sketchbook. http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=118695

Here's some of my new work.

I drew a lot of birds

Those monotone birds are beautiful, beautifully done. Keep posting those gems. Are you familiar with Raymond Ching? He does the most amazing bird portraits in watercolor and oil. If I ever delve into critter pieces, I'd want to paint like him.
