Hi there I'm kinda new here and I'm completely lost D:, anyway, I've registered here in order to get constructive feedback and helped me grow as an artist, I've planned to enter an ART school in September and I wish I could make as a carreer.

Denali I see. Tricky character, I've had the same commission .

The first thing that caught my eye is that the character is very dark (highlight/shading wise) and the background very bright. He doesn't very much seem to be there if that makes sense, character and background aren't one. Then again you aren't done with the background yet, my apologies if you were already going to change it in which case you can ignore this.

About the anatomy; it might be personal preference, but I feel that his legs and especially his feet are a bit too big. I'm also a bit unsure about the anatomy of the hindlegs, they seem to have a different build, but that could also just be the way I'm looking at it.

Here are some redlines for you to hopefully better explain myself.

Oh, and don't forget the white stripes over his legs. I happen to remember them because they gave me trouble as well haha. Keep it up, I'm curious to see where you'll take this and knowing your commissioner, I'm sure she'll be very excited about this .

    Smile

    Yes, Denali, indeed
Well, I remember this commission, I remember about you painting Denali's fur on U-stream

Yes, I more or less already knew that the colors of the character don't perfectly fit with the bg since I've alreday changed them several time ^^', guess I'll try again, plus I'm not completely done with the highlights, it could explain a little.

Well, I'll try to fix the legs, but I always tend to draw them to big, maybe because I love drawing cartoony things ^^'

Thank you for the lines, it helped indeed

Yes,yes, I know about the stripes ^^' it's just that I'm still not done with the basics colors, I'm maybe to disorganized

Thank you very much for the crit, it helps me a lot
