Now you sir, is on another level of awesomeness! I love your fantasy creatures, your rendering style has so much to love for.
Hello and Nice to meet you.
Visit my sketchbook >.<
The time i've spent working on my game has caused my drawing skills to take a hit, but I'm back to the grind now so you can expect some more updates and some more illos from me in the near future. Here are a couple of things I worked on in the meantime.
A few crappy studies.
A few failures, most of which were Brom/Justin Sweet copies.
And a few sketches.
I love your style, there's a nice improvement on these 3 pages, and you're really improving in your life's studies, amazing mate, I'll keep coming here
The last few pieces have a Frazetta feel to them with the motion and the actions.....and the cathead armour warrior..more of that kind of stuff.
Thanks guys!! I'm currently trying to balance my videogame/programming work with my art but, I know this is blasphemy, sometimes when I come back after a break I've actually improved somehow. I'm getting a lot better and doing studies and practices for my big illos too.
I really appreciate the Frazetta comparison Pitchblack - over the past couple years I've been getting seriously into his work and also Justin Sweet and Brom... and I think really studying what they do has helped improve the motion in my work, which I'm really psyched about. In the past motion has been one of my major weak points.
I'll check back again soon with some new work! And thanks again for the comments! It really means a lot to me.
Well it's been quite a while since I posted here, but I have some new work. I'd like to get more involved here again, so I'll start with these two quick environments I did over the holidays.

A couple of quick thumbnail sketches from yesterday.
Some recent illos that I finished!
Some sketches from my current project.
Here's a quick concept I did this afternoon. Gotta start contract work tomorrow so I wanted to chill and sketch a bit. I also really wanted to get back into rough concept work since I've been doing a lot of illustration lately.
Here's a quick thing I did for a friend's project on TIGSource.
And a landscape study I did recently. I'm trying to only post one image per post so that the pages don't take so long to load (makes it kind of a hassle to browse).
And here's a couple of process gifs I put together recently.
And a few more!
Here's the second of six pieces I did for my friend's project.
