    D&D & Talisman covers: Heroes & Eagles - revised 22nd march

    Hi,

Here are some of my latest cover artworks.

The first couple were painted for D&D supplements. The covers appear on two companion titles, and to reflect this I deliberately went for compositions that echo and reflect each other.

    Heroes of the Fallen Lands:

    Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms:

Size: 116.7 KB

Next is a cover for a Talisman boardgame expansion - thus the square format.

    The Highlands:

I look forward to reading any comments.

    Cheers,

    Ralph

    Love your colors Ralph.

My only critique is the last pic, the elf in the foreground has a real pointy chin. I find it just a tad cartoony. Just a nitpick, but it leapt out at me right away.

    Hi Storn,

Glad you like the colours. For the first couple I certainly wanted a strong distinctive palette to play off one another.

Guess the Elf's chin is pointy; I was basing him on an existing concept.

    Cheers,

    Ralph

I'll have the keep an eye out for these, the level of detail is fantastic and I'd love to see them in their native size.
