Thread: Brush Swap
February 11th, 2004 #1
I wasnt sure if I saw it here or on another site, but is there a brush swapping thread anywere? I havent been able to find it. And if not, maybe this could start one. Just a place to post any cool brushes we may have created, like Miligan's he just posted for his Beowulf thunderdome project. Thanks!

You might also want to take advantage of the huge number of custom brush variants available around the Web. For instance, here are a few links:
Painter 7 Custom Water Color Brushes - Also Useable in Painter 8
Chris Cimonetti's Fine Art 2 Brushes - Useable in Painter 7 and Painter 8
Sandman's Free Resources for Corel Painter - Brushes, Color Sets, Tutorials, Links to Other Resources - Brushes available for Painter 6 (PC and Mac), Painter 7, and Painter 8
Some Nice New Papers and Brushes by David Nagel
WetSet Brushes - Useable in Painter 7 and Painter 8 - It's a Japanese artist's site and you may not be able to read it, so scroll to the bottom of the page and download the file named wetset20021210e.zip
There are lots more, but that should keep you busy playing for a while.

Some of those sites have zillions of brushes or brush libraries with loads of brush variants in them.
If you test each brush variant, you'll be busy for a long, long time.
Try to take a look at the Brush Creator sections too, to begin learning how the brush variants are set up, especially when you find one you like a lot.
