you are getting better and better. wish you all the best to work as a professional concept artist.
Regarding Quake characters, there are only a few small things that should be reconsidered. The Enforcer, sooner or later the axe would ended in his leg if you let it swing. And The Dark Knight, it will be very difficult for him to draw the two handed sword with only one hand. A sword should be on his back.
Hope it helps! Overall you have a very good sketchbook. Keep posting new work.
    Cheers!

Here's a bunch of quick studies of some good ol Sargent. Studying the masters is always important. I always learn something new every time.

those studies are cool and all but i suggest you push them as far as you possibly can since it forces you to really train your eyes to obtain more information.. would suggest som life drawing too.. it would really help you understand and push values further in your pieces from imagination. just keep it up.

    cheers!

TJa88: Thanks man for the crit! Observation drawing is key and I can never get enough of it. I'm hitting up Europe in September and I can't to see what kind of cool thing I can draw.

Here's another quick study for the time being.

Your work is really cool. You have great line work and designs. I would say that your portraits and faces is your weakest point, but even those are really interesting. Keep posting!

I think those Quake re-designs are you're best work so far, really nice concepts. Overall the quality of your stuff is impressive, especially the linework. Good to see you're still studying hard. That's the only path to future greatness.

Trying to shake off some summer rust with some bridge man studies. I know I know, I think we're all sick of seeing these sketches but it surprisingly helped me a ton especially when it comes to form and how it interlocks within the form.

Good work. I hope we're not all TOO sick of seeing them, because I'm going to get started with Drawing from Life pretty soon....
