    Tower Defence Game Seeking Concept Artists

    Team name:
    Delfone Studios

    Project name:
    MobAttack

    Brief description:
    The project has been in development for a over 4 weeks now and we have some solid foundation to build on. We are looking to have the entire project complete and ready for release by summer (roughly 6 months).
    The project itself is based off a very popular genre called Tower Defense, the goal of the game is to protect your "base" from the invading mobs (attackers) by building towers to destory them. The game will be entirely multiplayer with a possible single player addition later.

    Target aim:
    Freeware with a microtransaction based store.

    Compensation:
    This is entirely volunteer. All profit from the store will go towards developing future games for the company, paying for servers and updating content. If we get enough sales we will share the remainder profit with those who have helped.

    Talent needed:
    Concept Artists

    Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    * Creation of 2d art
    o Mob Concept Art
    o Tower Concept Art
    o Game UI
    * Work closely with artists, designers, and producers
    * Improve the visual quality of the game
    * Follow technical and artistic guidelines for content creation

    Requirements

    * Must have passion and enthusiasm for video games and an interest in the art side of the gaming industry
    * Must have a sharp aesthetic eye and passion for art
    * Must be a team player and an interest in learning game development processes
    * Must have excellent organizational, verbal and communication skills
    * Must have knowledge of and proficiency in Photoshop
    * Must demonstrate solid productivity and ability to meet deliverables

    3d Artist

    Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    * Creation of 3d art
    o Terrain textures
    o 3D Modeling (both tower and mob)
    o Texturing
    o Animation (very basic)
    * Work closely with artists, designers, and producers
    * Improve the visual quality of the game
    * Follow technical and artistic guidelines for content creation

    Requirements

    * Must have passion and enthusiasm for video games and an interest in the art side of the gaming industry
    * Must have a sharp aesthetic eye and passion for art
    * Must be a team player and an interest in learning game development processes
    * Must have excellent organizational, verbal and communication skills
    * Must have knowledge of and proficiency in Maya and/or Photoshop
    * Must demonstrate solid productivity and ability to meet deliverables
