    Looking for critiques :)

Hey guys, just finished this painting. I tried to speed paint and this is what came out.

As always shred it apart and tell me anything. I love feedback... and I want to get better.

Make the sky look more like a sky. If you take out the birds, it looks like we're inside a cave, instead of being in a park(?). Trees are coming along nicely! You also need to separate your elements by adding more contrast.

Nice idea but it's flat and boring right now. Composition is interesting in that the falls relate to the buildings but it is all so dead-on that it is very flat and not interesting to look at. There is no sense of light - just this vague, ambient nothingness. If you want to push it, recompose it, get some ref for waterfalls/trees, develop a sense of light and give it the effort it deserves.

Thanks guy for your opinions, and yes Spiral I was very pleased with the trees.

Jeff I must say I love reading everything you have to say, always helps me look at it from another point of view. I see now what you mean theres like no light source. I will see if I cannot try and fix that.

    So thanks again..
