It's a couple months old but it's the first recorded photoshop session I've done:

Hey Andrew! Nice start here! This reminds me of the sketch in my avatar. I started out from dark to light as well... it seemed easier somehow. Keep it coming!

Nice start so far! I think you've got a good sence of form and colour, however something that strikes me is the focal point, which im guessing is the face, but the big green shape on the right seems to be drawing my attention more - though i assume its a quick painting / not complete ... i'll come back when you have some more

    Keep it up!

@applecheeks Thanks, yeah I totally see it, painting out from dark is pretty funm want to do it more.

@glaudarien Thanks, yeah I totally see that, It was a quickie so I wasnt paying close attention to the composition but it wouldve been good if I kept that in check better.

Just some preliminary doodling for a traditional piece I'm gonna paint soon...

    goal of 5 stars?????

first thanks for stopping by my SB. Always nice to have visitors.

I read you are looking for a 5 star post. You might get one, but if you never do...what does that mean? I have view some fantastic sb on this site. Folks whose works are jaw dropping fantastic...and they do not have 5 stars. Then again I have seen some 5 star ratings and I wonder why.

there is not much in your sb yet. I think I will pop over to your blog to see whats up there.

Thanks for the feedback sombertwin, it was just an idea for motivation but obviously may be superfluous.
