a goldfish's memory
Hey there, ryukin here!
I finally got the nerve to create a sketchbook!
... Though I'm still really nervous about showing other people my art
Please feel free to comment and critic!
Okay here we go!
I did this on Paint and Microsoft Word of all places with a good old mouse!
I... think it turned out pretty decent?
So... one pic is my rough and the other is the final version.
Somehow between the rough ...
And this final version, he lost the scar under his eye ...

Hey Ryukin welcome Its great to see you posting your drawings, everyones welcome here. I highly suggest you invest your self into a tablet if you want to do more digital drawing. A mouse just isnt a good way to go you have so much more control after you get used to the tablet.
Show us some pencial drawings to, keep it up!

Hmmm... I know what you mean about mouse control. Every time I had to do a long sweeping line I was always afraid the mouse would buck (it's one of those rolly ball types instead of the laser types) and go in the other direction... actually happened a few times...
Unfortunately I don't have the funds to buy a tablet (though I'm interested) and I have yet to acquire a scanner... But hopefully soon, I'll get one and as soon as I do I'll post some pencil/ink drawings!

Yeah Ive just started posting a sketchbook up a couple days ago! if your interested in gettin a tablet why not get a wacom bamboo fun pen and touch? Its the cheapest in the range and its a great tablet to start off with! i bought one the other day and its quite impressive.
But hey nothing beats a pencil right! so Practise with the pencil/pen first!

Wacoms are hella cheap nowadays, especially the ones they stopped producing or those that are outdated, I live in Europe though but every so often we get older wacoms for like 20$ or so, you can't doubt when you see a basket full of those!
I have a bamboo, used to work on a very old one, going bigger soon but those bamboo's do the job more than great

I did another Paint/Microsoft Word piece for y'all ...
This one I mostly did by freehand/freemouse? which is why it's so messy ...
Well ... hope you like it even though it's crappy ...

Greetings, ryukin here!
Thought I'd post another drawing of mine...
And this time it's ... drumroll please ... a girl!
I don't know why but I tend to draw more dudes then dudettes, so this is a nice change of pace.

I personally think that you need a drawing program that's better than MSPaint. (Photoshop, Rendera, Photopaint, Open Canvas, GIMP, etc.
