you are doing grate , btw i love your sketchs
your last drawing reminds me of Salvador who is an actor in one of the serials in Farsi one channel , here is his picture
Thanks, guys! Glad you like!
And yeah, I noticed his stretched out eyes after I finished it. That's a consistent weakness of mine, definitely something to work on!
And work on it I have! Here's a commission I did for someone over on dA. Really tried to focus on getting those eyes right, as well as the subtle forms on the face. Quite pleased with the outcome. :3
great improvement! you inpsierd me to start my own sb!
I love your character pieces and the colours and tones on your portraits. I only recently started using photoshop and am struggling a little with colour as I used to draw mainly in pencil or biro pen so your work is quite inspiring.
Stop your grinning and drop your linen! Found them!
Thanks a bunch everyone! : )
Sorry for the inactivity lately, been super busy with school and relocating. Gonna do my best to update more regularly!
I'll probably post some more TAD work soon, but for now here's some personal stuff to munch on.
The final for the still life above
A 2-hour warmup portrait to get in the groove (thanks to DrunkHobo-Stock on dA for the ref)
And some early WIPs for a personal painting, which is a remake of a painting I did in 2006 (which you can see here: [Link] Beware massive eyebleed)
Thanks for ze crit, Alex! And what? Caustics? That's brilliant, I should've thought of adding caustics, that must be why I've been struggling so much lately, need more caustics, the key to all art is caustics! Caustics! *axplodes*
Now that we're through with the acausticlypse, here's some moar stuff!
Final project for the B&W portion of Composition class, the topic was dreams or loss.
Some figure studies in pastel. Around 30 minutes each.
Final project for Linear Perspective, we were assigned to design our ideal studio and draw it in perspective.
And lastly some progress on my current personal piece. Feeling pretty good about it so far; it's still pretty rough, the smaller areas still need lots of refinement, but I think it's coming along well.
Your improving like a wildfire man TAD seems very fun and interesting.
keep it up im looking forward to seeing more
