Hustlin' Health Care Cover Art Competition

I'm developing a board game, Hustlin' Health Care, that puts players in the role of an insurance company. They pay and deny claims, trying to make as much money as possible. It's a bit of an economic & resource management game like Planet Steam, but in reverse (you spend money on the resources you acquire). At the same time you're trying to collectively hold off the government from intervening, kinda like Sauron in Lord of the Rings. Both of those games are long and complex, but this one aims to be shorter and easier for newbies like The Game of Life.

The game will be independently published with the first run being a self contained board and box combo. The board will be laser cut into wood. This will fold up with a hinge in the center.

THE CONTEST:

Design a 10" by 16" cover that will be etched into wood. This can be one large scene or two scenes that fit together as it will fold in on the center.

The art can be either vector or raster but it must be GRAYSCALE.

THE CONCEPT:

The sad truth that people need to make money off patients for the system to work. How can you express this visually?

THE PRIZE:

Winner gets a copy of the game when it's finished, along with another laser cut print of their artwork on wood.

2nd place gets $20

3rd place gets $10

DEADLINE:

Sunday, Feb 28th at 10pm.

SUBMISSIONS:

It would be really awesome to get everyone to post progress and help each other out. Let's have fun with this.
