If Jack Palance could see you now,
he would be very proud.
You did something very unique on the last page,
and I feel very spiritual because of that this evening.
No human eyes and ears will ever be able to absorb
the beauty what you are manufacturing.
I just wish you never stop the flow
of fantasy that you are creating.
Wow what a post, that must of taken a long time just to upload it all. You're on the right track. Btw i can vouch for the hampton book, its very helpful.
Hey, thanks for commenting on my sketchbook, your words made me think about why i'm doing studies, why i'm doing any of this- which is really good because it's easy to lose sight of that whilst you're plowing through.
Your value studies/ still lives are going in the right direction, one thing I would say is to pay attention to the angles of the objects you're drawing (compared to the horizontal and the vertical) and the scale of the objects- try to pick a base unit, say one side of a spray bottle and use it to compare to the rest of the drawing (I hope that made sense). Also, you advised me to draw from imagination, I hope you will do so too.
Here are some videos that might help with the still life drawing,
Keep it up
There are some cracking studies goin on mate they are really good, One thing I would mention is the gesture in some of them is getting lost try and remember the action in it and the way the weight gets thrown around. You have nailed it in some but not in others which is a shame as I get the feeling that you are bursting at the seams with something brilliant !! you might just need a good fart but I'm hoping for brilliant artwork and not gas!! ;-)
ha ha ha all the best to you buddy and thanks for the SB visits
A great kind hearted lumbering bullock

I love seeing all the dedication you have. Loomis, Bridgeman, life studies, anatomy, UFC work-outs, digi-paints, contours, perspective, light/shading...IOW studies, studies, studies!

Hunin - You are correct!
Lightship69 - You are 100% right, I need to work more on gestures, some were better then others because they had more thought put into them lol.

I feel gross, I didn't do shit this month, the entire month!!! Man, that has to change. But if I had to look on the bright side, I actually tried to do paintings, like actually tried. The Castle in the Sky was a complete fail, I did learn tho I have to plan much better! I'll get around to uploading my SB drawings
