Why I'm not going to the local bar...

The area around us got 18" to 24" of snow overnight. We got 37". The mound in front of the first pic is 7-1/2 feet tall and is in my back yard. The tree that's at the center is a 35' apple tree that tore out its roots and came crashing down at 5:00 am this morning.

The last pic is my neighbor's mailbox that was dug out of an 8-foot snowbank.

All of these shots are from in the house because we can't open the doors...heeheehee...

    How was your night?

Your not the only one lol
    The snow here is ridiculous
I'm still sore from all the shoveling

Funny thing, my dogs usually they'll escape out the door and run off around the woods
and its impossible to get them inside. But today they escaped out the door and found out there was a
4 ft wall of snow keeping them in the yard, they looked so confused, they were just running around in circles enjoying the snow

Kitty, the snow you and others are getting SO remind me of "White Juan" that we got in NS in 2004! XD 97 cm...even the university that never closes had to close down. @_@ Some people had no electricity or water! I hope you guys will be safe through the ordeal!

Snow? What is this snow you speak of?

Blazing hot as usual on my end... I wish the rain would come.

oh how the beauty of nature has no regard for living things. This is seriously boner inspiring. I wonder what I'm missing out on, living in southern Cali wearing shorts and tee shirts year round.

Yea, I'm in the same boat as you are ilaekae, we got at least 2ft over here. Most of the snow came up to my knees, some to my waist. It was fun to play in yesterday.

Where did global warming go off to?

Ye we have gotten a lot of snow here aswell, and are expecting more to come. Currently it's kinda as much as you got Ilaekae. Oh well, still good jogging weather.

Go to http://www.justin.tv and you should be able to catch live HD streams.

Wish I had some snow, tired of people in Japan running around screaming "It's so cold!!!" Missouri for 18 years. I know cold. Bastids. They only care about hot tropical weather and the ability to wear shorts, tees, flip flops, go to the beach, and get a tan all year round. Selfish.

Well, I'm off to the beach to do some sketching and work on my tan.

I live in southwest PA also, we got about two feet here. Went snowboarding for the first time yesterday, we had to slog through snow above our knees to get up the hill, and I only wrecked about 900 times. 8D Thankfully our power stayed on, though everyone else's seems to have gone out.

Don't let a little powder coating keep you from going to the pub!

On a sidenote: Its funny that i only know what the superbowl is because of Janet Jackson.. I hear it's a big deal over there!

Somehow, I read 'local bar' as 'taco bar'.

And now i feel like tacos.

But there are no delicious fresh crunchy cheesy taco's to be had.

    mmmm, tacos.

Man that mailbox is hardcore, it has like 3 ft of snow on it yet it stands like nothings going on.
