Hello Everyone. My name is Travis Lacey aka Ravenseye. Ravenseyestudios.com Is my website (Sadly Its still under some minor construction.) But almost all of my work is uploaded. I didn't want to release this thread till I got it completed but Ive got some work I would like to show and don't want to continue flooding the the forums with various threads. Go check out my work. Thanks a lot!
So Im going to throw up some recent work.
Currently Ive been working with a lot of shape sifting. In the near future I'm going to be doing shows with various local bands doing my work threw a projector at a venue. Ive been working to prepare my self but I would love if anyone has any tips or crits that I can keep in mind to work on making my overall Image look intriguing. So If you have any information that could help me I would love to hear from you. Thanks again for checking out my work and I hope you continue to drop into this forum as I add more work. Have a great day!!!!!

I like your enviros/scenes more than the abstract artsy stuff... But that's just my personal preference. All of it is beautiful and well done. Keep it up!
Thank you Dahami. Landscape and scenery work is definitely my love but I have no desire to be a one armed artist. I understand my shape sifting work doesn't hold as much ground as my scenic work. Yet I do desire to continue to work in the style to push it further and make really interesting looking work so if you have any advice to help improve it I would really appreciate it. That goes for anyone I always love to get critiques they really help me Improve even though I may not always apply them to what I consider a finished painting I always think of them In future works and see how I can apply them.
Let me just say Im sorry for watermarks. Ive already had my work stolen and claimed by someone elts. I desire to make my art my career and currently am not making an income from it but hopefully one day I wont have to put watermarks when im making a currency.
Oh wow Im happy to announce that the shape sifted painting I did with the female and skulls was given a Daily deviation on Deviantart.com. I feel pritty happy about that and I must again thank Andrew Jones .... and this website for giving the oppertunity to teach styles and techniques. All the videos I have purchased here have been greatly helpful and theres nothing more enjoyable then knowing the money is going to help the community.
On a 2nd note Im also excited to see that the collaberation of the beast I did with artist Shinerai has made it to front page over on deviantart.
Awesome pictures, buddy!
Thanks espen I think you will like this one too!
This was based around a short paragraph discription that was this.
The small party of mythical creatures walked around the brightened cave in awe of their surroundings. Large light blue mushrooms glowed in the massive cave, magificantly tall as houses. Assorted coloured glowing orbs- faeires- zipping and fluttering around sparkling chrystals like fireflies in the dark. Beautiful glowing lillies of orange, pink, purple and red fill the cave's floor. Glowing green; all-stemed mushrooms jut up from the floor all around.
great lookin environments man! nice job.

I love your enviroments
any city/sci fi ones ^^?
I havent ever gotten into any cityscapes but It would be something that I should try. If you promise to come back Ill do one sometime soon. Im really big into fantasy and nature so I love painting landscapes like that. Seince I am not working for any companys I make these and sell them as prints. But a city scape would be good for the folio. In this new painting I have created a little villiageish that I tried making more of a final fantasy style. Some place you would stop at to trade in some junk at the bazzar.
