Working towards improvement, goals goals goals!

I've been drawing since I was young, but I've never really improved, and for a long time, I stopped drawing altogether.

I've changed, my goals have changed, and now it's time to bite the bullet and work towards some real improvement. It's time to work towards completion, to have projects, to leave my comfort zone.

I'll try to post as often as possible, every weekend at a minimum, but every day or two would be ideal. I'm in the military, and currently in training, so school is a priority.

Right now, my only tools are a netbook and a tablet. I'm in the process of getting some traditional materials together, but I don't have access to a scanner.

    Current Goals

    1. Start digi-painting, inking.
    2. Develop a central project, or cohesive series of pieces.
    3. Produce more dynamic work.
    4. Work on enviornments
    5. Experiment with different styles
    6. Make pieces that tell a story.
    7. Finish something!

I'll start with some current work, what I typically churn out. Any criticism is fair game, any help would be completely appreciated.

    Thanks for your time!

A nice start. I see lots of potential. With a bit of dedicated time to studying the fundamentals (i.e. anatomy, perspective, composition, etc.) I think you could really excel.

Looking forward to seeing you progress.

That last one looks rather skewed. A lot of people flip their canvas periodically to help prevent that. One of the benefits of working digitally.
