    Miki's New Adventure :]

    Ok so i finally decided to post some sketches.
    i as a lil nervous at first. Only been drawing for a couple months.
    And i just started Loomis and Bridgeman anatomy studies yesterday morning lol.
    I will try to post things weekly. Any crits or anything is appreciated :]

    I think you should do proportions and structure studies before doing anatomy. By the way, do you have any relationship with Jack Frost?(Just kidding haha). Keep it up!

    Yep, trying getting hold of the book 'Drawing on the right side of the brain'. It will help you to focus on shapes and what the object actually looks like instead of what you think it looks like.

    Hi.

    I respectfully disagree about the Betty Edwards book. I think she means well, but you would do better to study Bridgman, Bridgman, Bridgman until it comes out of your ears. This is the book that will teach you the figure so that when you sit in front of a nude, you'll know what to do. Trust me, I've been down that road with Betty Edwards. It's a cute experiment if you want to waste time, but it doesn't teach you a thing about drawing.

    It looks like you're off to a good start. Keep it going!
