    THE APOCALYPSE

[PLEASE NOTE] There are no images in this thread YET. The reason i posted this thread in the Critique section was to get ideas (which you will understand from the rest of my post) and post some pieces to be critiqued, based off of the ideas from the community. I did not want to creat more than 1 thread for only one purpose. Thank you.

For my portfolio for for AP Art and for college, I have chosen "The Apocalypse" as my concentration, as it is a pretty concentrated concentration, but allows for a lot of versatility. The problem (as some of you may know) is that i have a sort of....lack.....of imagination. I need a lot of help coming up with ideas to illustrate. So I would like for all of you who watch me to give me your best suggestions of what to create with regards to the concentration "The Apocalypse" or something like that, such as "Armageddon" or just simply "The End". What ever comes to mind. Please try not to be too vague with this, i need a lot of help. Be as descriptive as possible!

I know this is kind of asking a lot, but I appreciate it.

    Thanks for everyone who contributes.

The book of Revelations has some great imagery if you want to go the religious route. If that isn't your cup of tea you could always start reading things like 'the road' , 'Sixty Days and Counting', 'world war Z'

Look outside your window. Okay? Now imagine everything there on fire. That's how I usually get inspiration for my "apocalyptic" pieces.
