    Sketchbook of Tsuki9

Uh well,I decided to make a sketchbook..
    I don't think I'm that great and I don't draw that much.
    But still I draw.^^'
This year I thought I should study drawing more but I just can't find any good books about it and I just don't have time to randomly search the internets.
So I thought that I'd come here.

    Well,here goes nothing.

This is finished this weekend.A random character I named Lapiz.
I belive I could change a thing or two but I'll keep it as it is for now.

Some sketches I've done this year, not all on the same papper tho.
The guys down to the left is my two characters Rufius and Tsume. There's a fanart of Rei from NGE by those eyes and other than that it's pretty random.

I know this one has it problems, the body is really wierd I know but this lineart took really long time and so I didn't feel like redoing it.
But I think that the details and coloring looks good.
This is a fanart of Viola from the game Eternal Sonata.

I'm not too sure if I want to color this way,it just doesn't feel right.
Ah,I can't really explain things like this on english..

I'm not sure if I should keep this manga style, since I actually don't like doing their eyes that much, but I'm no good at other styles.
But well,it takes practise and practise!

So what I'm saying is that I'm not to sure in my art.

One day goes by so fast,so I wonder did it really happen?

    My old character Tsuki re-designed.
I've really gotten better since I did the original a year ago-considering that I've only colored on my computer for that long.

    Ah,I know the same background..
And the shoe is a bit off I know.My brother was gonna help me with it and he did that.If you have any good recerence please link.

Hogarth, Loomis, Bridgman. I just suggested these three guys to another CA member not too long ago. All very good authors/illustrators whose books are used and recommended by many accomplished artists.

The books mentioned above you can get free online. I suggest heading over to the tutorial forums they have compiled lists and links just for artists like yourself. If you get in the habit of doing page or so of studies then another page or original stuff you'll start seeing improvement and your style will evolve from there.

    I use MSPaint.
