    Lumella's Sketchbook

Hello, I'm Myr (a.k.a Lumella). I've been a member of CA for a long time, but I never really posted here. I didn't how to start, but after coming home from a seminar yesterday, I finally had the courage to try out to post in here to get some real progress coming~

    Please take care of me!

I also have a DA and a Sketch/Photoblog, but I'll try to post most of my stuffs in here to get something cooking~:

To start off, I decided to make a realistic Miku Hatsune to try and adapt new styles rather than my usual anime art style.

EDIT (As of June 26, 2011):
I realized I have not expressed my primary goal, which is probably the reason why I felt this SB doesn't have a direction.

My GOAL is to become a CG and 3D Generalist with extensive knowledge in Matte Painting, and Conceptual Art.

I hope that would lead me into something more fruitful.

Very good start to your sketchbook, the anime style is very cool, I don't really see much wrong with it or anything you need to improve i that sketch. Keep up the good work!

eviltofu & Icedearth15876: Thanks~! I changed the neck, I'm not sure if it's recognizable though.
^soheeNgel>: Yeah, it sure did. I'll keep it up as much as I can. Thanks, Kuya Carlo (Eric told me, by the way. Sorry for the late introduction).

Fixed the neck part and added palettes for the image. I did another sketch awhile ago to practice how to draw devil wings.

    ^soheeNgel>: He told me your name. I forgot to ask for it on the seminar xD;;

It's been awhile since I posted here. I haven't been drawing much due to a very demanding minor subject I have. Trying to get the feeling again of drawing through head studies.

It's been awhile since I lasted posted. I've been practicing coloring lately. Decided to use a not-so-complicated lineart for now, but I'll make try to venture to harder slopes.

    Just finished this latest artwork.

I really like this piece Lumella, did you use bezier curcers for the lines, or do you do it with brushes? It looks so neat

I've been experimenting with poses lately. Perhaps to get the hang of drawing different poses in different angles for one of my artworks I'd like to draw soon.

UPDATED: Added my 3D rendering done on Maya. Did this in my 3D class. Tried to make a drinking session scene, but forgot to add chairs. Oh well~ Just used occlusion because I haven't tried using materials on objects yet

It's been a long time since I last posted. I'm in to illustration again after a long hiatus.
Here's a WIP of the one I'm currently working on.
