I haven't been on CA for quite a while now :/
I always thought I improved more when I was still posting my studies to get crit, rather than just keeping them secret to me and my hdd.
Hope you all will visit my goofy lil sketchbook again
So here's a study from ref, a Levitan, a page out of my moleskine and a sketch of my grandma.
Hi Eric. Thanks for the comment in my sb
Nice leap from the first page to this point, there´s definitely progress. I think your onto something with those enviros, good atmospheric perspective on this one particularly
I was suggestion i would say try in some sketches to bring out volumes with light and shade and the turning of planes without outlines or making a silhouette of the form, makes you more conscious of the foreshortening and the specifics of the different masses, its always usefull even when you like using linework in your approach, but now looking back , the grandma sketch already shows a lot of that. Just keep on working man.
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook =] You got some great stuff in here. I like the knight in armor you did and your sketchbook pages look awesome. Keep up the good work!
Wtf, what a big jump on page 4 GREAT! Post more! Thanks for visit.

@mushroomz : thx! i appreciate very much
something new. not happy with the colors and texture of the skin yet. up to this stage its been done in Paint Tool Sai but I find its brushes to be a bit too smooth and digital so I'll take it into Photoshop now.
Nice updates here, very much enjoy your style. If I was to critique something it would be too watch out for your values on some of those caricatures; Reference photos with flash lighting tend to flatten out an image, so use caution when you use them for reference in that regard. Keep it up!
