    exploration

Hello everyone here at CA, here are a few quick watercolor pieces. These were done on yupo. The second one is a quick thumbnail color exploration for a bigger drawing I did last week. I'll try to keep posting stuff. Feedback or critiques will be welcome! thanks,

    Jeremy

Thanks JByrne. Here's a sketch I did mostly during a train ride this week. Some ideas I have for a dead city far in the future.

    kaleidoscope street

Latest page from my sketchbook. I keep on starting small thumbnail drawings next to each other on the same page, then joining them together. You can probably see two of them at the top, with rough framing around them. And then adding on to the drawings until I've filled the page. The piece I posted previously I drew the same way.

    surf film poster designs

Thanks Rhubix. A break from environments though...here are a few poster designs from my sketchbook. I'm in the process of making a 16mm surf film called hangs upon nothing. My plan is to make a few different large scale silk screened posters for the film. I like using dimensions that are longer vertically than standard film posters. Hope you dig. If anyone is curious to check out a small glimpse of the film project, you can here:

I love you watercolor and ink combination! Such lovely colors. Your environments are really detailed and have so much depth to them. Great work so far! Can't wait to see more!

    neon fireball guitar solos

Thanks for the good words Aresa and bluecloud. Here are some sketches from earlier this year that I did at Calabash Animation. These are some preliminary character studies/designs and one scene layout drawing. I've got some more that I'll try to upload soon. This was for a short piece of animation based on a comic book called Eternal Descent where these guitar gods battle each other with guitar solos and lightning bolts.

    Ganon

Here's my take on Ganon from The Legend of Zelda. I was somewhat inspired by Clayface from Batman: The Animated Series, especially in how I rendered the shadow shapes. I wanted shadow shapes that made interesting, strong designs, and also showed his form well. I think his legs are a lot longer than usual...more superhuman/Greek god like proportions than beast, but I do like how this makes him look tall and powerful.
