Hurricane: No more fooling with the original lineart, I promise. Thanks for being cool about it.

Legato: Man, your mechs are looking great. And the color jobs they're getting are equally excellent.

Kakikukeko, Sammy, Spacey + Voide: Your colorings are tremendous. Your work continues to be an excellent learning tool for me. I know so little, and am taking much from studying your paints. Thanks.

One last effort before I destroy my bandwith limit:

Hi... I'm a noob at Painter/PS so still lots to learn. I tried something different tonight tho, and colored this with the colored pencils in Painter 7 and then added a light wash of watercolor on her flesh and hair. I think the watercolor mightve muddied it up a bit, but oh well.

Some lineart from me will show up some year, lol...

    Here's the pic I colored:

kakikukeko: Awesome job. That lighting looks great.

Faxtar: The explosion in the corner is most excellent.

voide: Wow, that color job really brings it to life.

leviathan: I don’t know if you should be using me as a learning tool considering I just started digitally painting about a month ago . But thanks man, that was just the motivation boost I needed!

God, what have I done…I’ve butchered an American icon (the most fun I've had yet!!)

hehehe.. to say that I loved coloring this would be a gross understatement. pun intended I still might tweak the manflesh parts some to give them more dimension but its done for the moment.

    thanks for the linework!

Jubilee: I failed to mention how bad ass your paint-overs are. The knife-girl you did was incredible, and Hurricane's monster here is great. Your textures and translucent skin tones are the things I like most.

Seeker, Spacey + Wolverine: Great job bringing life to that boring Wonder Woman! And Spacey, just because you're only starting doesn't mean you don't have things others can learn from. Everybody in here is bringing something unique to the table, and I'm grateful you guys are around to teach me new things.

    Keep up the good work!

I wanted to contribute one more piece, just to make sure I go over my bandwidth limit this month.

This is an attempt at styling some linework after sumi-e calligraphy. It's not meant to be an exact replication of the artform, just inspired by. I'd love to see what you guys do with it, what your interpretations might be.
