    neat thread

Wow, I'm so impressed by the talent here, it's embarrasing to put mine with the rest of your art.

*New Media Coloring Book Vol. 2*

I went in a slightly different direction than most, leaving the line art intact and painting underneath with PS with the line in the alpha channel. Gives it more of a comic book feel, but I like the result.

    Cheers!

Hiya again. I had time to do another peice. This one took a while and there's parts that are slightly off like the breast plates' shading, but overall it's cool.

*New Media Coloring Book Vol. 2*

And if anyone wants to try this themselves, here be the lines. Dave C. ROCKS!!!

I think you'd be better off asking individually and probably with a PM. You'll get better results.

Apologies for not having a chance to color yet. Thanks to those that gave mine a try. They look so good!

Here's a new piece of lineart that I thought might be fun

I was bored and felt like messing with PS CS. Only second time using this version, it's not much different from 7, yet somehow i feel more relaxed using it.

Thanx to Teyekanik for the lineart.

Just stopped by to say this page rockin'. Great colors and killer lineart!

DarkMana: love the color scheme on this one. i may just have to steal it for my own doings. *a most evil laugh* as for a crit, i'd love to see you spend some more time on it and really define the form some more (especially in the cloth).
lochnarus: same as DarkMana; spend some more time on the form and this will be a definite winner.
Cookiedough: excellent colors! the skin, shoes, and backgoud all look great, but the shirt and shorts deserve more attention.
attaya, lochnarus, lil'Tao, teyekanik: fantastic lines!!! hopefully i'll be able to dive into one of these sometime soon.

Keep up the good work everyone! (I expect at least Darkmana to colour this one, seeing as he asked me to put it over here! )

Idiot Apathy: That's got a really nice dream-like quality to it. I think what's bothering you is that you've made her breasts a bit too big. Other than that though, solid job. Again!

Bojee: Nice. Maybe drop the saturation of the wallpaper to make it fade into the background? Looks cool though!

Sigh, unfinished projects today. I told myself however that I should start posting my mess-ups too, that way I can get more crits on what I'm doing wrong.

So yeah, crits 'n comments much appreciated! Learning everything by yourself ... sucks.

Right, been hard at work these past couple days, I think I forgot to eat a meal or two yesterday, whoops...

2nd try on DavetheOriginal's lines; better than the first, still not so satisfactory. I think I confused the lightsource on parts... o'well. Got some new thought processes out of it. ... Still intimidated by the boots, aieee!

*New Media Coloring Book Vol. 2*

Crits and Comments greatly appreciated, learning by one's self is tiring, and flawed !

    @Henglong :
That one's and oldie but a goodie; I'm not sure how your going to incorporate the darkroom/flashlight into the grand scheme but I'm looking forward to the result.

It looks a bit off, gold isn't really all that yellow. I might even just try desaturating it a bit.

    Here's a decent ref:

That Henglong, appears to be a random circle, I wouldn't worry about it. Or just color it like you did the other random circle just below it.

P.S. the random circle in question is partly off the table if you look at the lines.

First post. Actually, first time using software to color (a bit behind the times, I know). Lochnarus, I love your line work. I had fun with this Hot colors on a hot gal.

I'll post some'm to color, but I must warn everyone; my line work is sloppy and unbalanced.

PS> Great idea for a thread!

Heh, he's right though. If you're going to post WIP post them either pretty small or as thumbnails to bigger images if you would please.

    jus a little sumtin sumtin

Hey all, I'm a long time viewer, this is my first post. I'd post more but I'm in Iraq right now and have no scanner, just my crappy laptop. So, I am unable to color anybody else's stuff right now, but I'd love it if somebody could color this for me... I have a version that I colored while I was home on leave that I'll show later
