Wow, I have to say thanks to you guys, it's really nice to see that so many people want to work with my lines! If any of you guys have any requests for what sort of subject matter you'd like let me know, I'll try to accommodate if I have the time.

Foolanaki: Nice job again. I like "bored as hell" it fits with the subject of the picture. I'm not sure about a specific shadow tutorial, but if you look at Prom's website he has some excellent tutorials there. I've always found his stuff remarkably useful.

Rebecca: Nice work on the energy signature from the wizards blast.

Rykon: Good first attempt there, I'm flattered you chose my pic to start with! It'd look cool to push the shadows a little more, it gives things a bit more drama. Keep it up!

Jucky: You've got some very sensitive colouring there. You're colour/pallette choices are quite fun. Of the 2 pieces you've coloured I like the first one more. The pink background behond the blue hair works well. I'd suggest making the shadows bolder. I used to hear this from my art teacher all of the time, I was trying so hard not to harm my linework that I wasn't really adding to it. One of the excellent things about digital colouring is that you can try something a litle crazy, because if it doesn't work, you can just delete the layer! God knows I do that all of the time.

Darkmana: Yay, you finally picked one of mine to colour!
I like the fact that you improvised here and added more leaves to the picture. The shading is cool too. And you even moved my sig afterwards, nice one! My only suggestion would be to lower the saturation of the background--red is such a strong colour that it fights all other colours for attention, even if it's in the background.

@ Domagoj - I like it :-D. The background could use some work, but i like the style overall.

I'd like to see some other people paint this piece.. Maybe I'll take a crack at it,

Spent 45 mins on this. I'm amazed at the speed of some of you people in the speed painting threads.

Does anybody know why the colours are desaturated when saving as jpg from photoshop btw? It didn't happen when I had a PC, but with my powerbook.. Something to do with colour profiles I would assume?

There has been a crazy amount of pictures since my last reply here (and a lot of them are from my lines which is really flattering, thanks guys! )

right, replies...(Christ this could take a while...)

Rebecca: Whoa, that's some crazy pink background you've got going there (you missed a bit between here arms though). I like the 'falling' version you've made, it feels like winter when I look at it.

Foolanaki: Yeah, it's actually a very good likeness of her. You can see one of the reasons I found it hard to tell her I don't think we should hang out much anymore last week...

Dehron_Samiel: Interesting colour choices you've made there. It's nice and vibrant. Your joke scared me btw!

Idiot Apathy: Very nice, I like this one a lot. It establishes a nice mood, good pallette choice. Oh, and "King of Coloring Book Lineart!" I like that so much I'm going to PM Davi and ask if I can have that under my avatar!
