I guess some of the lines I post are difficult to color so I gave an example... Colored this with simple Multiply layer over the original pencil. Then a Normal layer over the Top of that. The Multiply layer is used to block in all the basic color and form, similar to water color or transparent airbrush. Then the Detail is painted in using lots of hatching and small opaque strokes, this layer is similar to guache. So only three layers in all.. Hope that helps some peeps.

Maybe some of the more established color guys could break down thier methods to noobs like us?

I was thinking of these three, which also apply to toth:
    1) TRY NOT TO DUMP EVERY LINEWORK YOU'VE EVER DONE INTO THE THREAD AT ONCE.
    2) ONLY POST IMAGES THAT WERE MEANT FOR THIS THREAD OR ARE RECENT(WITHIN THE PAST 2 WEEKS).
    4) IT'S RUDE TO DUMP LINEWORK WITHOUT COLORING OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK.

If you have colored other's linework, and these were made for this thread, my sincerest apologies - I can't go checking on everyone, can I?

Nice! I like the colors better too, but what happened to his eyes? I think it might be cool to show all 3 of the "highlight" colors in them...

I found this forum today and started to look around...

This thread got me very inspired to try myself. I have never colored anything and I am not very much used to Photoshop. The coloring took way much more time than I would want to tell you guys and the result was perhaps a little to much disney but I am sort of proud of it.

*New Media Coloring Book Vol. 2*

PS. I can't really draw either so don't ask me what I am doing here

Bout time I added some more lines, this is part of a larger pic that I didn't have the drive to finish (just a quick exercise, ya know?).

Alter the lines if you need to, but have some fun with the colors! I'm going to post a coloring as soon as I finish it.

    Cheers!

*New Media Coloring Book Vol. 2*

[edit] Finished... little crazy on the colors but it was fun hehe...

LOL! Thanks dude always love to see my stuff colored. The lighting is great I don't see any problems with that at all. I also like the colors themselves, nice choices.

    Thx again
