thanks brawkstake! I loved working on it - the hair was exceptionally well done and her face was just downright haunting for some reason.
hedwurx where did you get the pic of the woman in the modified cheongsam? that rocks.. I'd love to color it but I dont remember seeing it in the thread.
ah yep I remember now.. the stunning critter "sketches" too. But.. doesnt it have to be posted here to color it per the rules? *looks questioningly at sammy*
if anyone likes it maybe i'll do some similar things
I did this one. It was lots of fun to color.
oops, yeah, sorry.. i tend to get linework just to colour personally, that one must have snuck in,
*looks at sketches i drew post*
And the other two i was going to post today...
if there's a problem, pull the image.
cartoonfox, i actually used the drawing tool in opencanvas, it just gives me alittle bit more control, a very similar tool in painter is the fine tip tool under felt pens
You know that but you go on.
You know but that you go on.

davi, ok thanks. i'm not sure what open canvas is, but i'll try the felt tip/fine point tool.
i need to get used to sketching in painter, it'll save me loads on paper :p
man, i dont know what it is about your sketches, but i love them to bits. and i love to colour them. which is great as i really need to start learning painter
thanks for the sketch. please post more, even if its just for me

"The function of art is to stop us and take us out of our skin,
Unveiling the spirit's pure nakedness without beginning or end.
These dialogues of Maker and Seer weave together matter with soul,
Consecrating the practice of art as speech of the ineffable." ~ALEXgrey
....fear the munky
I finished this a couple of days ago but forgot to post.
First post, first line posted in this thread by sammy I think.
All shading done for me, easy to do really,
Do some of you do the shading in the line work and then in another layer (in photoshop, use multiply) just add the colour, therefore you only have to shade in black and white, but it comes out in colour? (Do some of you do this?)
This was fun. Thanks for the lines, Dave. I left the ceiling lamp off under the assumption that he wouldn't be using the flashlight if it was on:
And continuing the theme, here's my lines. Enjoy!

No problem, thanks for colouring the lines.
I really like the shading on the ceiling lamp!
I just love seeing the different outcomes this thread has, everybody sees things slightly differently. It's really interesting.
