DANKA, the cleveland stever, CocaTertoka- thanks guys!!

    NR43- Yup, nature is awesome!

Here's a painting of a Finch, I think I need to focus more on lighting and color next time instead of the details....I love details so much that I get caught up in it sometimes and lose focus on what I'm trying to actually learn! =)

Here's a concept I did for the World of Warcraft, Burning Crusade Cinematic. It's a Draenei Paladin.

Great as usual, Bernie. Could I trouble you to write a few lines about your painting process? Do you work on different layers? Work from darks to lights?, etc. Thanks a lot.

Bernie, it seems like you've been making a solid progress with colors and lights especially within your animal paintings. It's good to paint details as long as they help you to understand the detail of colors and lights. Keep up with a fantastic job.

LOVE the horses, chimp and water buffalo. The WOW piece is stunning too!

    Excellent!

    kingkostas, Jephyr X- Thanks!!! =)

Traveler- Basically, for these studies that I'm doing, I'm using normal and multiply layers. I start off with mid tone colors for ever section of subject matter and then paint in darks and lights. Is that too simple of an explanation? Well I hope it helps. One day I'll do post with the study in different stages so you can see the progression.

SR-5- You are correct! Thanks! =)

Here's something I painted for my wife for V-day. She liked it!

Good for you that you have a job, and you work for Blizzard. I still have a long way to go.

Thanks for the breakdown, Bernie. If you get around to posting a progression that would be great, too. The birds are just great. Lucky wife.
