    DS Colors

I own a DS and just found out I can mess around with colors on it. It's not Photoshop but it's not etcher scetch either.

    Welcome to two years ago!

I love colors!, i use it every day on the train. There's a big colors! thread here on CA, where people share their goodness, but i'm not sure where to find it.

Yeah, colors is pretty awesome. I've got it but haven't messed around with it too much. There's a setup section for it stickied in the Community Activities section. I feel like there was another thread floating around with more artwork, but I can't really remember.

I have it. I used it a few times when I first bought but now I barely touch it. I really don't like it to be honest. Pencil/paper >>>>>>>>>>>>>>DS/Colors.

I love my DS. I've done almost 150 speedpaints with Colors! so far, although my screen is half dead on one side now. I'll certainly be buying a new DS soon just to continue using the app.

The ipod version is vastly inferior to the DS version in my opinion. Pressure sensitivity really makes all the difference. On that note, if you're planning to get a DS for colors! be sure to get the dslite, and not the DSi, since they didn't include pressure sens in the DSi.

No pressure sense on the DSi? That's why I've been having problems ><

Played with it last night. I might consider a Cintique one day. Working with a stylus on a pressure sensitive screen is not that bad at all.

It's got potential but I think an I-Phone version will be better for sneeking a quick doodle at work.

The actual image size is not so small working on the DS the picture is zoomed out I think so you are zooming in and out working on a picture two times the resolution of the screen. There's actually plenty of room for digital experrimentation.
