Where to go for business card critique?

I just finished putting together a few ideas for my first personal business cards, but I'm kind of stumped as to where I can go to find an online community to critique it. I assume any general purpose graphic design board? Would love it if someone made a recommendation.

Might as well try posting in the crit/wip section and see if you get any takers.

Lord M, that clip is hilarious. I can't decide if he's serious or if it's tongue in cheek. The card might have been cool (I wasn't impressed until it opened into a pop up), but even still, that's some serious attitude.

you should probably go to a graphic design forum. Ooor, go to somewhere like smashingmagazine.com, look at what they consider great business cards/example of good design and compare it to yours.

    Simple design stuff:
    - Not too elaborate
    - Communicates information well (the whole point)
    - memorable (this one isn't necessary but nice)
    - Hints to your industry/job (for example divorce lawyer had a business card that could be torn in two, with info on both sides, and a personal trainer had a card that you had to stretch to see the contact details)

    Umm...

Cards should be a standard size because people don't have space to put giant cards. Especially for non art people, they'll just fold it up and stick it with all their other cards, and then all the information will be hidden when they're flipping through the stack. Even for art people (like art directors or something) they're more likely to say 'oh cool' and then throw it out because it's too much of a hassle to carry.

You don't try to rewrite the purpose of a business card...a good business card designer will work within the confines of the medium and make something amazing WITHIN them. That's good graphic design. Plus his head is really obnoxious (on the card, that is).
