Then I'm calling this done.
The horns are pure fantasy inspired by different antilopes. This idea originally came to me when I saw a huge wet stain on the ground from a bridge looking like a head shape with huge horns standing straight out to the sides.
Here are the finished cd cover I did for Reig. He's a Norwegian electronic musician. His web site can be found here, and you will find tastes of this album there as well.
First out is the front and back of the booklet. The main theme here was the Czech Absinth ritual, which is the most famous one were you pour Absinth into the glass through a lump of sugar. Then the sugar is light, and burnt until its caramalized. The elements he wanted on the front was first and formost his and the albums name on the bottle label, then electronics and, of course, the ritual. On the back I put a picture of him playing in his studio.
Next is the inside of the booklet. The little green thingy is made with Apophysis. I wanted to keep this simple and abstract so it didnt detract the attention from the writings.
Then we have the actual cd. Here I just used elements from the front (praised be Photoshop with its layers), and another light environment made in Apophysis
Last we have the backside (outside of the tray). Guess wich app is used Here I wanted it simple and good with space for the writings.

You must have drink a lot of this Absynth before starting work !
Waaaaaaaaaw ,what i can see here ,its really fantastic
Its' cool pic. Imagination is greater than reality.
Been away for a loooooong time. The reaon is that I have had a long good think about my life and the thing I do. I have had a big problem with the norwegian artscene for a long time. You find alot of arrogance, self-righteousness amongst other. Things I really cant stand. So I tried out some other things like woodworking, leatherwork.... Well, after getting an ipad and purchasing a synth for it (the Animoog) and playing around with it, things started to take the direction of soundwork. So today I have one album as Untermesch, one with another synthist as Softsynth Sorcerers behind me, and working on my second one. So I mostly work with music and sound design these days..... And loving it. The milieu of experimental music in Noray is totally different then the finearts scene. In general, much more open and inclusive
Well, even if I dont work as an painter anymore, I can't just put painting and drawing on the shelf forever. So I do some doodling every now and then fr fun. This is one I did on my ipad with Procreate and a Wacom Creative.
Here is the cover I made for my first soloalbum, "Hypersleep". Its made in Google Sketchup, and some afterwork in Photoshop.
This is the coversleeve.
And here is the back and spines.
I also made a couple of wallpapers from these. I'll just post the links seeing as they will be to big to post directly.
