    Red face Hoinz's portrait skribblz/sketches

    My portrait- skillz are fucking badly(like my english)
    So i want to improve it, to find my style, using different drawingtechnices.
    Crits and comments are wellcome!!!

    some new stuff from yesterday

    With the first pictures I tried to work without construction lines.
    The lateral view I have drawn from a photo.

    some shading trials...

    I used a photo as reference, to concentrate upon the contours and shadings.

    yeah, the mirror is the best. Get a mirror about 12"x18". That is what I usually use. Its a good size and its easy to transport.

    from today...

    Today i used the mirror. The first pictures are drawn in one line, for the others i worked with construction lines. I think i should reduce the shadow by the last picture more, to concentrate on the shape.
