    some new stuff from yesterday

With the first pictures I tried to work without construction lines.
The lateral view I have drawn from a photo.

hey man, i really like the shading trials, you have a good grasp on proportions and minimal shading which is awesome. Keep itup.

    some shading trials...

I used a photo as reference, to concentrate upon the contours and shadings.

yeah, the mirror is the best. Get a mirror about 12"x18". That is what I usually use. Its a good size and its easy to transport.

    from today...

Today i used the mirror. The first pictures are drawn in one line, for the others i worked with construction lines. I think i should reduce the shadow by the last picture more, to concentrate on the shape.

Your lines are becoming more deliberate and refined , also there's a lot more character in your SP now. It's nice to see you experimenting with expressions, maybe try a digital one next? My first digital value study took so long to do and was horrible but I learned a lot from it. So ya, great work, keep going at it!
