    So after I did the '00 list I thought I would make this one just to see how they'd compare. I think that, in my opinion, it's fairly obvious that the 70's win...

    Yeah, 70s are an obvious choice to someone with your taste. It's a shame not much music like that comes out any more.

    Well there's plenty of retro stuff that sounds like it's from the 70's but it's just not, you know. The only successful retro bands on this list are Anglagard (better than most stuff from the 70's even!), Bacamarte, & Yezda Urfa.

    I like how Rain Dogs is on there. One of my all-time favorites.

    Hey I've probably asked you this before Jake, but do you listen to Mew? I can imagine you liking them. Their last three albums are each distinct masterpieces that have inexplicably recieved little recognition. One of my top 5 bands of the decade for sure.

    Mew are good, yeah. I've only heard their newest, which I wasn't crazy about to be honest, but I do have interest in listening to them more in the future.
