January 10th, 2010 #1
Hey everyone! Well, my friend hala told me about this site and I decided to join and try it out. It looks like there's a whole lot to do on here so it's gonna take me some time to figure it out.
And, uh, yeah. So here it goes!

Yeah, I have tried to use the uploader. It would be a lot easier. But I currently have only a camera to digitize my stuff, and all the files come out really big, and I don't know how to shrink them other than in Photoshop which I don't have >.< Ack. Need to get some Photoshop.
Anyway, here are some sketches from September. Oils. All from observation, 5-20 mins each, and in terrible photographic format.
Thanks for the welcome, guys!

if you open teh files in paint--- and go to "stretch/skew" and put in "50 percent" you can shrink it and hte file size will be small
really digging these man
5-20 mins is hella fast for what you got down on the canvas
would love to see more of it or even like going back and fleshing some things out

Thank you Snootchy and Arthurkidd. You're right, Larissa is a bully - but cool for telling me how to resize things!
2 more little drawings, one of mushrooms. I like fungi a lot.
The other of Jessie and James from Pokemon (still kinda like it). I figured with the hair Jessie could easily be from the 80s, and James was a total flamer. And a personification of Meowth, who I suppose would be an old, sad guido. I'd like to make something final out of this, but I need to practice invented poses first.
PS: How do I thank someone on here? Like, by your stats it says "thanked however many times in however many posts." Hoe do I do that?
