    Partisan`s Sketchbook

SKIP THE FIRST PAGE ITS TOTAL NONSENSE

so these are the first 2 pictures i dare to share with you. Both were made with photoshop and mouse (my tablet is to crappy so i decided to use the mouse as long as i`m saving the money for a wacom). These are the first pictures i ever made using the computer for drawing. I wasted severals years doing nothing and just wasted time by playing computer. Now i finally got to the point were i realized what is important for me in life. The community of CA showed it to me: its Art ! For i dont know how to paint on canvas in oil (there isnt any real art-school nearby) i`ll try to learn to draw on the computer. so this is my personel little journey to art. If any of you has something to say feel free to do so. What i really need are tutorials and tips for photoshop and computer aided painting in general and dont be to harsh

serious question i need help. how do i manage it to get "clean" edges and shapes ...no matter how big the picture is it always looks kind of "washed" and ...it is not sharp, i always see the pixel ... DPI is up to 1000 (i know 350 should be enough ^^ ) and the resolution is 4000x11000....i don't get it how could this be.

and does anyone know a good tutorial for making vectorized brushes with illustrator ?

You've turned a marble into a masterpiece. Had to point that out--theres a lot of awesome stuff in ur sketchbook but since I'm a beginner, I'm working on light and shadows on spheres and your example is one of the best I've seen.

Interesting style! But I do think that your textures are overpowering the form instead of adding to it. You might want to tone it down a bit.

In my opinion, the texture work isn't as objective as it is strong. It's executed, yes, with very little direction, yet with a brimming talent I'm seeing there. Looking out to see how that latest WIP turns out.

I second this! Welcome to the forum and a more productive turn in your life. Not "knowing what you're doing" is where we all start...but you are blasting out of the gate and can go very far if you keep working at it.
