Nice paintings mate, I really can see improvement here.
The tankscene is building up looking great, especially the lighting and shadows work very well on that one. Also, nice angle on the intergalactic postman. Keep it up!

That UPS robot piece is killer!
I also like where the latest setting is going, maybe start adding points of light/interest with a wider set of values? It already has sense of depth to it.
Very cool digital stuff in this Sketchbook, keep it up!
Really nice SB, you've got some awesome designs in here
there are so many fantasy work. You sb is good.
post more please.
study out of imagination ..ATM my goal is to learn from Adrian Smith and Paul Dainton which both have a great stile
I am using a method I call Obsergination ^^ ...its a mixture between observation and imagination ...I start by copying a certain part of the face ( mouth, eyes nose etc...) drawn by one of the two and than develop the face out of this part using my imagination , that way I am learning from them and at the same time I develop my own "stile" hopefully interweaving the two into something new
im seeing definite improvements, keep at it!
Vablo many thanks hope you drop by again ^^
Parsakoira I was talking about the tree with animal/tree-spirit thingy in it, the traditional drawing ^^
Medusoid ....hm maybe I should try thank you mate , will drop by your SB by tomorrow! Promise !
Rotor thanky you ! Concerning the light its going to change quite a lot yet so ...its just a first step ^^
GEB thanks to you !
MaFeng I sure as hell will post more , thank you ^^
brenthollowell I definitely will ! thank you !
your sketchbook is so inspiring! love it!
WRappiii thank you ^^
here is another head from imagination ...though it looks quite sketchy and I would be more than happy if I could say it is a sketch ...I have to be honest this crap took me about 3 hours....I know ...I suck ...*sobs*...weeks of practice ahoy ....
thought of starting a sum-up of what ive learned on a periodical base ...think monthly it will be.
1. get loose....I found out that I have a massive problem in not working into things to much, I do want to achieve a loose and realistic look in a the foreseeable future
2. I practice to little on anatomy .
3. My use of colors is to much like in a comic, as is my anatomy.
TASKS FOR THE UPCOMING MONTH
1. Mainly studying the work of Adrian Smith, Paul Dainton, Daarken , Kekai Kotaki and a few others
2. more practice on the male anatomy with fixation on the head and face
3. colour-studies as my colors are all to much like in a comic/manga/anime ( I hate that fact ! )and dont work well together
Your improving extremely fast, love your characters and how you really engage your viewer. keep it up : )
Talent and Creativity are yours to use and keep
[S K E T C H B O O K]
and going further with the studies this time from this picture :
by Kekai Kotaki
it might not look very good and its simply crap compared to Kekais work , I totally know that ^^ but its a small stepping stone ..and for this part I am quite happy with this piece , about 1,5 hour of work
- establishing loose lines more and more with additional focal point
- colours blend into each other very good
- slightly more contrast and better values
-forms arent very good, I need to study more general forms like armour and stuff as many of my characters do look generic

DUDE! Shut up now!!! How dare you say anything even remotely bad about this!!! That lightning is epic, That thing looks like the damn scariest mother fucker ever. Just be sure not to say anything loud enough for him to hear it or your drawing may revolt.
But dude seriously this rocks, and the only thing I'd look at is his left hand, it might be a bit distorted
Great updates by the way
Parsakoira thanks for including me into your signature ! means a lot to me !
Medusoid oh stop you make me blush ^^ thanks mate ! and about the hand the whole thing is very WIP ATM ^^
going further on the last piece

IMHO you should bring that atmospheric grey in behind the white figure in the middle. There is no contrast otherwise and the figure blends in too much.
Lovely stuff mate!!!nice training your doing. I like the values u have done in 214#, limited and accurate in many points. I like this last work, i think i would increase the contrast a little. U are improving a lot. Keep upgrading the drawing skills.
RyanRyan you may be right but I tried to make him look like he is actually part of the sorounding nature, will see if I work into that
kingkostas hey hey thank you mate means a lot to me if you like it !^^ will try to edit around with curves and contrast will see where it gets
so here is my start on todays practice piece
see you later
