    I've finally gotten my tablet working properly so I figured I'd start this sb.

    My first real attempt att painting with a tablet;
    A quick, one-hour study of a tropical frog.

    Damn good frog study dude Keep up with your studies and you'll definitely improve.
    Here's a link to some work by Kevin Chen. He's a great artist when it comes to figure and portrait drawing.

    Hey there,nice start!
    The values and colors of the frog are quite good, but my problem is with the edges, they are very soft, and it not having a proper outline really damages the overall lookthe image.(Hope it didn't sound too harsh, because it is still looking good, and it is a lot better than what I can do).
    The pencil sketches are good too, especially the faces.

    That's all I can say, keep up your work,I will check back within a week!

    Palladium: Wow, thanks alot! I'll check that out first thing in the morning. I really appreciate it.

    DSmith: Thanks alot for the crit, mate. It doesn't sound harsh at all! I'm all ears for any tips and corrections as I'm a total noob at drawing on the computer. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future work!

    Just keep the tips, crits and such coming!

    Hey there!
    I think it looks alot better now,I think an ideal start would be starting to learn anatomy, just download some Bridgeman,Loomis or Hogarth books and start drawing from them,it is really good and if you do it a lot you will get better in no time!

    Cheers!

    Thanks alot!

    Here's a quick piece I did a few months back while I was reading Cormac McCarthy's "The Road". Made by using photos and some different brushes in PS:

    A step-by-step pic, kinda:

    An older piece I found. Made it back in the start of 2009, I think:

    Newer stuff coming soon!
