Credits Illustrations @ end of Sherlock Holmes

anyone know verbatim who did those? they're fantastic!

i stayed into the credits, and there was an Illustrator named Eva Kuntz that was credited, but i'm not 100% sure its her, and i can't find anything on the interwebs supporting this. anyone else have info?

Do you mean the ink wash animations during the credits? Far as I could tell that was a combination of photo filter with cg animation. Also all of the "ink" drawings seen throughout the movie were made through a photo filter, though why they didn't just hire a guy to make actual ink drawings is beyond me. :P

There were several concept pieces mixed in, but most of the credits looked shooped to me. Mostly from having seen no small number of pixels in my time. But yeah. Most of those were just stills that had a few fun filters applied to them.

They did hire a guy. His name is Jorge Almeida and he teaches at Watts in CA. Very cool guy. Did the drawings by hand in graphite and then hit them up with the filters. Here is his website but I think its a little outdated.
