A real quick photo study, sketch, and a WIP I'm working on for my niece. I've got one in the worx for my nephew as well, but I want to finish this one first. C&C are greatly appreciated

    thanks for droppin by bruv

really diggin the last post, for the photo study i think maybe
trying to work in a value range from darkest to lightest 20% to
80% is great because photos are so often over exposed (then
you can really pump up some more contrast if you feel its needed but often relative contrasts will be fine )

if you are doing it right now and i just cant tell then major props haha

really loving the energy with this painting for your niece

keep up the fine work sir, looking forward to more as always

Wow that photo study is sick! I love that second concept too, especially the armor. Are you gonna finish it?

Keep it up, glad your back! The inspiration's mutual man.

quick or not, that photo study looks sweet. you're clearly thinking about the right stuff.

no critiques for the niece painting yet, since its in such an early stage. best i can do is 1) watch the dress, it could get monotonous pretty quick with out some color and value variation (make sure the form wraps around towards the back) and 2) keep the skin tones lively with more variation and what not.

keep up the good work !

    Thx for the crit Zorcron
Thx Eddieee, I might work on it a little more lol.
Thx rogerb, will do, will do
Thx sourgasm, Already been working on that

A couple of progress shots on the nieces painting Gots lots to do on it, especially with the shadows on the dress and blending the colors smoothing so it will look as if it folds and what not correctly
