Not even a son of a forest beast can turn up with such great turning
backtracking punches, like you use to do it. The tide is high and it is
totally on your side. Mammoth mud-slashing steps of sudden improvements.
Like a stone carving starving Gladiator, you are effectively heating up the freshly
painted radiator. I fancy those small thumbnail environments a few posts back,
even if they are looking something like overcrowded, too much thing on too
small space. Also I am not sure about the values, going back for some more
greyscale enviro thumb studies would be advisable for all of us, even for the little
camouflaged confused boyscout team. The last blue guy standing in the cave is
looking gorgeous and you are improving with your every post, that is just a fact.
Keep on delivering big funeral caskets, filled with freshly harvested apple baskets.

yuzero- Thanks for the critique, and I totally agree yuzero

Zen-fehr- Around 15 minutes for the thumbs. They are quite fun to do And glad I could inspire

Goremageddon- Ive done some still studies in the past, but all of these are just done by placing a lot of colors on the canvas, then creating shapes with a textured brush to see shapes.

Lt-Thanks for your input Lt, its always a pleasure to read your replies

Flaskpost-Thanks, really like whats going on in yours as well.

    Appylon-Why thank you

Been quite busy the past couple of days, only had time for a couple pages in my moleskin....

I like the updates esp the pencil sketches. I feel like I'm going backwards with my drawing lately its kind of annoying

The second big kitten (panther?) in your last post looks just great, feels really alive and breathing to me.
Also I like the faces on the left and the character running on the bottom right side of the last moleskine post, really dynamic.

On your last character posting IMO you could work out a bit more of a contrast between the background and the figure, maybe some complementary (slightly used) colors or at least more tonal difference. The background could draw a bit too much attention (to me, I mean I can't talk for other people).

Great work, just go ahead man!

Korzen- Don't put yourself down man, I go back and forth with my own drawings, you just have to remember to apply what you've learned to what you're doing at that moment. Sometimes that means having to redraw something 100 times Although, Ive been doing better at pencil sketching ever since I started drawing in photoshop. heh.

Charmer- Hey man, thanks for visiting, and I totally see what you're saying. Thanks for the critique

Well guys, haven't done much the past couple of days due to me being laid off on Friday At least I have more time for drawing yay But I really need some doe to pay off loans lol

Nice silhouettes, man. They're reading really well and looking balanced and solid. Cool looking shark character as well.

I really like the thumbnail sketches in post 272 and 275. The 3rd one down on post 275 has really nice color. I think it would make a nice illustration
