here is my attempt at it ...

I spent about 1h30 on it .... too long for the result ... but i might try to finish it.

comments and crits are welcome, since i'm really wanting to improve in this kind of work (speed study of colors and values)

edit : well i worked a bit more on it, so its 2h00 instead of 1h30 .... but its much better now i guess

    Way to long but...

Took several hours but oh well. I suck at loose/speed paintings.

    Littlejohn, is that Houdini?

    Prismacolor, nice color palette

Mime, I like your style. Very "artsy fartsy", as my instructor would say =)

Wow. All of them are amazing.

BARONTiERi - your last one is astonishing. I would love to see how you did it.

I'm new to painter, and kinda to new painting in general.

    Here's a 30 minute... thing.

Just taking a break from my T-dome 4 stuff and thought I'd whip out a wizard.

ball point pen (a real crappy one too) on typing paper.

Banged this out in over 2 hours (not counting the time it took me to figure out some stuff in Painter 7):

Apologies for the huge size! Will edit to link to a smaller version later!
