iven: Thanx a lot for nice advices! I agree with Trixtar, hamster supposed to be angry, not shocked. But you're right about eyes, I'll change them))
Trixtar: Thanx for nice advice and you're very wellcome!
AllyAlbon: I always thought my lips are terrible, glad that you like them)))
Rustveld, shiNIN, mike butkus, dierat, thedestroyer, miycko : Thank you a lot, guys!!!

Now I have my own site, yay! http://in2eternityart.com/ --- your C&C are very wellcome, as this is my first one. Maybe some works are not good and it's better to remove them?

Portrait study from photo ref, I tryed to get color from black&white old photo, so these are my work and original:

very cool referenced painting, i like your use of custom brushes, i've never been good/comfortable with those. my only advice would be to make the eyes a little bit bigger but it's probably just out of personal taste. keep the updates coming

Long time no see =) Latest update looks good. Great work on the features of the face. Perhaps the colours could've been a bit more saturated and have more contrast in the values (the reference really has a big value range), but on the other hand it has an old photo feeling this way. i don't know what your intention was.
And I need to agree to the other people: the doodle with watercolours in post #413 is really beautiful!

I really like how you deviate a bit from the ref to keep it fresh Like that little pout to the lips. And I adore the nose

miycko: Thanx, you're right about eyes, I should've done them bigger (( I use only one textured brush for the whole work, still need a lot to learn too)
    thedestroyer: Thank you)
    will123will:Thanx!
Valyavande: Yes I tryed to do this portrait more "soft", but of course I still need to workk more on my values, to give my works more "deepness" .
Hmmm... I find nothing special in my #413, but very glad you like it!
DSiwek: Actually I always want to make my portraits recognizable, but either my hands are wrong or my eyes are crooked... But I'm glad you like it))

    A few simple sketches:

The portrait came out really good (as far as I can tell quickly, I'm in an impatient mode right now ) though not colorwise if you wished to make them realistic. It's lovely but almost monochromatic, I see the blush and lips but still, the skin colors is too yellowish and probably the hair could use some more hues as well. I just feel it.

The watercolor birds are funny, I wanna do this too, watercolor splashes then pen/marker/whatever, I'm confident I can do that in a way I won't hate the result. Thanks ~

Maybe a bit too saturated colors on her arms and hair... The golden wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't hair, but the bright skin colors seem to overpower the others... I think.
I'd move her left eye and the arms aren't quite right, the ankles should be a lil more thin I guess, except these, I like the whole thing, nice details on the corset (I love corsets anyway), the gesture is nice and even if I criticized them, I like the colors in general. Just some finetuning would make it nicer in my opinion.

shiNIN: Thank you a lot for commenting! I've moved just a little her eye, maybe it's better now. As for colors - that was kinda experiment so I'll leave this picture as it is, but will keep in mind your corrections)))

    +some portraits-doodles:
The last three pictures ARE NOT MINE, I just wanted to ask you guys, maybe some of you know artists or places where I can find more works like those? With nice weight of line, good accents?

I like the first portrait sketch a lot. Well it looks a tiny bit odd because the face part is too big for the head and the eyes are too wide but the strokes are easy and artistic. Bring moar, I'm selfish and love to see good portraits and you are a fine candidate to do such ones in the near future.

Nice work. I like the wip from post #390. I think it is a lot harder to make such a simple pictures/theme to look interesting and you succeeded in doing so. Keep posting!
