Your lines and rendering are very very beautiful; the style reminds me of James Jean, yet it is also distinctively different. Bravo

So here's a strip that was done for school. The text is in french. The dishes are messy, but i don't have the motivation to refine them. Photoshop and a lil' bit of Painter (for the slick black lines). Hope you enjoy.

You can see the details on my blog.

Last one looks great man! If there was anything about the at all that I'd change it might be to introduce some more subtle colours into the hands.

    Overall though, really nice!

i like the cartoon but i really love your illustrative work, I really like how your proportions are sometimes a bit exaggerated like long arms in a mix of the colouring or shading you use to give it a bit of a creepy but very cool effect

Such beautiful pencil work, I could look at it all day! The little broccoli piece is great too, any chance of a translation? I took German instead of French at school unfortunately

    Brun- Thehe

Paulie- I agree with you, i should add an ovelay layer to warm up the hands.

Lav- Thanks a bunch, i do like playing with proportions

    soros- I sure do!

monstertree- I'm afraid i cannot translate it right now, maybe later

Here's an evening sketch, note: the texture was added with photoshop.

WOW. Brilliant works. Someone mentioned Fables and James Jean and I agree, but I also think you've given the style your own personal twist. It's quite awesome. Damn you Belgians!

    Good God man!!!
    Truly beautiful stuff here!!
Awesome job on the digital work. Also, loving how you play with proportion in the figures, really adds a greater variety.
Simply drooling over all of this.....

Such GOOOD stuff - absolutely loving your work dude, your pencils are so crisp and clean. Gorgeous.

Just watch out for your proportions, they have a nice tall/gangly look to them - but sometimes it comes of as a bit too much and looks a bit wierd in some cases.

Keep up the good work dude!

Rendered with photoshop. The background is one of his paintings that I altered to my needs

    Really great work so far.
Could please explain something for me? Are those drawing pencil on paper? http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1265479896
They dont have any grain which would show up when you scan paper, yet they dont look entirely digital.
