This week I saw Art school confidential. Art students will relate and find this movie very funny! I also finished reading the black frog's The moo factory.
I didn' know it was already for sale! Its a very nice story, illustrated just like Conscious of void. Its in french tough.
I'm working on an illustrated book. Here are some pages. Bigger size on my blog.

your ability to depict the forms of figures is amazing! I'm loving these new sketches for your illustration. The movement and mood make the images really interesting to look at.

[aR] - Thank you, the sketches were done using mechanical pencil.

Nightblue- You're basicaly saying what i've wanted to hear for so long!

DANKA- Thanks, i look forward to your new blog.

I just bought a light box. Its gonna take a lot of time getting used to it... Anyway, here are some sketches and doodles made with various references.
I can't seem to find the time to paint.

Really interesting stuff, here! You have a really incredible way with light. The crouching nude especially stood out to me.

My only criticism is that most of your faces look "pinched", and I'm not sure whether this is intentional or not. In your last post, some of the faces contain eyes which are too close together, but the eyes are too far apart in the bottom image.

Anyway, keep up the fantastic work! I'm looking forward to seeing more. (:

You got some cool stuff here. Your style reminds me somewhat of James Jean, the Fable comic series cover artist.

pepokish- Thank you for the compliment. I think i see what you mean, i have a long way to go.
For the last post, i should have used the lasso tool and moved the eye, but i forgot.

MT206- I'm a big fan of Fables! My username stands for one of their characters.

More skeletons sketches done for fun

Nice, creative SB so far. Your strong point right now is your rendering. If you study anatomy and draw from life, etc. a bit more you'll have a strong foundation on which you can lay that great rendering.

Really great start to your sketchbook! There's a nice style in your work, it puts me in mind of ccsears and Jon Foster.
