I think your problem is that your not blocking in shapes and getting the propotions right first. Yours shading and blend need work the transition from on color to the next is really noticable. I guess If I had to say it, think of the features as more of abstract. So yea hope th is helps!

    :)

I will need to be packing and such, going to live in another town for two months so I will probably not be updating anything for a few days because of this. But be sure to keep an eye out for my return in about 2-3 days. cheers y'all.

Diarum- Thanks for the helpful comment. Though I still dont really get it, blocking in shapes? I am very bad at all these sentences which regards art I am sorry I am trying to learn. Think I know what u mean by more abstract, more like objects. Will try to keep it in mind.

This is a start at a woman, trying not to use lines but values for the sketch. Will continue in this one. Only 2 min this is. Take care everybody! Seeya soon again.

    hello.

I know I said I wouldnt update in a while. But I had to take out my wacom here in the train, made some changes To M.Ali. He is still looking a bit wierd, the left eye is all done again but still not as good as I want it. changed a lot really, moved the nose and mouth to the left, the ear a bit down, made some hair to the eyebrows which I loved also.

Well critique and help with this one is welcomed Also I want to tell you that I really learn while doing these, sitting and looking what is looking wrong and redoing stuf make me learn a lot, atleast I feel this way. Cheers!

    Hi there

I love the bird and the eye with fur, very very good, and also I like the way you are experimenting with the hand art work.. I must say I havnt really tackled hands or feet yet, as I know they are really hard.

Nice work, keep adding more :-)

Nice job. I like the different direction you took with the eyes. Your shading has definitely improved a lot since your first page.

why do you put on this portrait values which don't exist on the ref, why one side is darker than the other one, why do you add light in the eye though there is barely a light point?
    good luck , cheers up!
