    Festivus!For the rest of us!

Festivus is celebrated on or around December 23, unless you have something better to do.

First we shall have the Airing of Grievances where we point out each others inadequacies.

Then there will be the Feats Of Strength, seeing as how arranging wrestling match would be implausible, we all just draw the Festivus Pole. Remember no tinsel, it's too distracting!

After the meal the "Feats of Strength" are performed, involving wrestling the head of the household to the floor, with the holiday ending only if the head of the household is actually pinned.
I now have visions of us all chasing Jason "Benny Hill" style with Yackity Sax playing.

so to all participants would give/get bombarded with crits as airing of grieviance and then thunderdome as the "feat of strength"... if only we could schedule it at a different date, most of us are not home. Im not and left my tablet

The general rule of festivus is it lands on the 23rd unless you have something better to do. Then you can just celebrate it later.

my father and i celebrate festivus each year, we have a pole we put up, and tomorrow i believe i'll be having dinner with him after which he will air his grievances in all the ways i've disappointed him this year. We tend to skip the feats of strength though

That's cool you and your dad actually celebrate this tremendous holliday. I had a Festivus party once, we skipped the Airing of Grievances and went straight for the feats of strength.

It's aluminum; very high strength-to-weight ratio.

Troubadour!! My family has done this every year too!! We wrap a present in an old tea shirt and throw it at the person too, very rude and great celebration!!! This ROCKS!!!

Raoul Duke, I've got some problems with you. You can't spell worth a damn!

And you, FourTonMantis, you were better as an Amon Tobin track.

I'm going out back, chopping down a Stop sign, and preparing the pole.

    IT'S FESTIVUS.

Yes it is time for the Airing of Grievances
I have been regularly going to the critique center this past year and been giving honest polite helpful crits, so I'm going to air my grievances and get it out of my system.

I'm sick of looking at your ugly fucking pictures all the time! Stop drawing muscles that don't exist, there are these things called bones you know. Just because you copied a few pages from Bridgeman doesn't mean anything if you don't understand it. Rhythm have you heard of it! Give it a shot some time. Get you own imagination, quit trying to be like everybody else, generic! Half of the character designs around here could be generated by the Warcraft character creator. Just please make some sort of an effort to create a character that doesn't exist.

Beige and brown are terrible colors for a website. Jesus Christ, I thought you guys were artists? Is this a fucking mud puddle or an art site? If I wanted everything I wrote to be on an earth toned background, I would write on parchment. I'd have this huge fucking black quill made from some kind of bird feather found at the edges of the kingdom. Get your shit together, oh wait looks like you already have and it's the background image for the site. Fucking cutting edge of the art industry and you're using some Windows 95 preset color scheme that's probably named "Sandstone" or something. Geez.

That's the Festivus spirit. Although I think the beige is dope, and I wish I could write on these forums with a quill, but what matters is you bitched and complained and that's the true meaning of Festivus.
