# Thread: how to draw my way sketchbook

1. ## how to draw my way sketchbook

Welcome to my new thread how to draw my way( tho i can not take the credit for this idea). Just that i found it. A new way to draw which does not require me to copy other peoples work but starting a( personal journey of discovery for myself.) heres my first sketches using my new discovery. If you wish to do the same go to the web site. Learn to draw the human figure by Riven phoenix and go on your own journey. Thank you. Hope this will make it clearer as to what I have done.

12. Hello!

The sketches are good but it's a shame that you say that you invented these formulas...It is clearly Riven Phoenix's method,so please don't take credit for his work...(if I misunderstood your posts, then sorry)

13. ## sketchbooksketch

more of my drawing and to avoid coping other people and useing formulas to make the human figure by riven phoenix.

27. Keep it up! Doing the Riven stuff is a great way to get a lot of figure information.

test your self while doing them. see how much you can remember then go back to your notes and the vids to clear up any spots that you are having trouble with.

using other anatomy books along with his vids is also a good idea, it will reinforce the information.

just don't stop at one example lets see pages of them

oh and you can have more than 1 attachment per post, so just load up one

I'll be checking back.

33. that's what I'm talking about

nice update, learning this stuff takes time and serious study. Its an absolute ton of information to remember and then to use creatively and correctly.

at this stage measure a lot and recheck you measurements to make sure they are correct.

It looks like you skipped a head in the Riven vids.Try to go with him step by step. Knowing the bones and what lies under the muscles makes it easier to add the muscles later on.

right now you are working on mileage: the more time you spend studying ,learning and drawing this stuff the better. It will be rough at 1st but you will improve.
