    Layer modes for the brush

    Hi, guys!
You know, you may set new layer and set it's mode to overlay, multiplay and any other. So if you need to draw some overlays, you need new layer.
But you may set overlay mode not for the new layer, but for the brush.
I'd like to set modes for brush, as in PS.
Help in advance, how to make it, please

Basically you can't change modes for the 'brush' in Painter (like overlay or multiply) similar to PS.

In Painter you can only change the mode for a layer. There is no other option.

painter doesn't have the same exact feature as PS, you may, however, want to try this:

(found under windows -> brush controls)
won't work for all brushes (artists oils, for example) and may not behave exactly like you want it
I generally use layers as Fes suggested but if you REALLY need a brush with that feature, give it a try.

on the fourth day of glitchmas my painter™ gave to me
four random crashes, three broken brushes, two system hangups & one corrupted workspace
