Bue, hablando de tus dibujos los primeros dibujos que haz hecho tan arrechos pero los últimos 3 q has posteado han perdido un poco de proporción. Sigue con el buen trabajo y sigue posteando
Well i haven't post lately, but im still working on my sketches, this something a made in about an hour some female figure studies
Well, i've been lost for a while for many reasons but now im back and trying to work on my craft, so this my wip for the wicked wich of the west, im just play around with colors just practicing, any advice will be much appreciated Thanks!
It's supposed to be quick but it took me a while hehe =/
im working on the anatomy/ face constrution its kind of hard
Wip, any help would be great
Hi there! Glad to see you working steadily at improving your skills. I'm in the same boat.
Your lines seem very clean. Do you ever redraw them when you're making a figure or do you just go with whatever the first line you draw is?
I'm quite a beginner myself but if there's one thing I've learned so far that I can offer to you, it's to analyze the weak points of each drawing that you do. For example, in the sheet with the male torsos it looks like I see some pecs are out of proportion and the biceps are sometimes different sizes. That sort of thing. But in general it looks like you're kicking ass
Please lend your thoughts and critiques at My sketchbook!
hey retro! thanks for the comment, actually i do redraw them but when a i did those sketches i did them from a ref and didn't have any idea of anatomy ( i still don't but im working on it) thank you for the tip! i'll try to keep it in mind!
this is me trying to do the 30 second pose, from posemaniacs, it was really hard so i had to take it up to 60 sec while im gettin use to it, im going this first week with 60 sec then i'll take it down to 30 and see how it works out
some andrew loomis studies, i did this sketches but im not sure i get it =/ hehe i guess i have to keep on practicing
sketchs from today, the first one some quick studies, the second one figure studies, and a lady thats supposed to be doing some couture pose
well some more studies sketchs, the figure studies from yesterday, and head and face studies from today it was a bit difficult because i want my heads and faces to be perfect and to see that im still missing something in the construction its kinda of frustrating but as many people say practice practice practice
PS: i used andrew loomis for the head construction and some refs from deviantart
Today a took i chance and went to the park ( its close to home) and had my first well second draw from life session by myself, and i have to say that from the first time this really was fun and i saw myself drawing almost without thinking to much, of course i felt weird cos people here are not used to a strange kid stare at them, and also there was a lady who i thought was going to yell at me or something cos she came and look at me and said " let me see that!" and i was like :/ okay ..."nope! the other page, she said" =/... and then she was like.... awww thats nice .... so thats was my experience today not that anybody cares but i felt the need to tell it lol
PS: i wanna try this again tomorrow, its just another excuse also to watch hot people go by haha

thanks for the advice fenixx!, im working on it
Woo for posemaniacs! :-) Nice variely going on in here. However, apart from keeping up the work on the human body (well done, do more anatomy, etc etc) you should really just go back to basics.
Think: what shapes am I drawing? Where is the Light coming from? Should my shadow really be that close to the outline of the object (no)? Especially useful for when you attempt tricky things like noses - remember that they are no more than a collection of very simple shapes (i.e. 3d object).
Keep up the good work,
so i got lost for a while, i got a new job as history teacher in the design school, and its been i bit overwhelming, but ill try my best to keep it up with my sketches and studies, here are a couple of sketchs a did a few days ago the last one its a character im working on so any suggestion will be much appreciate
History teacher in Design school ... nice
About the character... I feel that maybe you should work on the detail to add change of form when it comes to the nose area. Like a nudge or something, so that it fits on the head. In the 3/4th view, it looks a little flat.
And personally.. i kinda feel it would be better if you added some kind of detail on the sides... so that its not just a flat straight line. Maybe an additional plate that wraps around the cheek a little more. Might even make it look more strong then.
good job mate you've a nice sb
your anatomy study very nice
keep it up
