    It appears to have kept it simplicity.

    There's several selection tools (Marquee, Lasso, magic wand, etc) and a transform tool, which I did miss in 2.5.

    There's a kind of smoothing option in the pencil and inking tool which is on by default.

    Also there's an option for "real color blending" which is more cpu consuming.
