"Heavy metal parking lot 2: Revenge of the Heavy Metal Parking Lot"

    I draw comics.

I am trying to get better.

I am posting my attempts here in an attempt to find people who know what they are talking about and don't talk about John K. every five seconds.

Woke up at 1 am today, not a real feat since I fell asleep at noon yesterday.

Decided to take it easy today and have fun.

Started off by pausing an episode of Ren and Stimpy called "Insomniac Ren" and penciling and inking the stills.

Hated the way the it looked when I erased my pencil lines, so I quit inking.

After only making it a minute in to the episode I got bored and started drawing from my brains without stills.

Thanks mang, the thing I have been having the most fun with are the strong reaction faces.

Started on the body stuff. The bodies in the episode I have been watching are constructed weirdly and I hate the way they look. Drew a random upper body one, then drew a stupid one.

Brain is going to be fried from trying to switch to a Polyphasic sleep schedule so I just drew some more faces. Really having a ton of fun with these.

Some more Ren stuff, then maybe some Bridgmans if I am feeling ambitious.

Whats next is spending the next 48 hours of my life on Bridgman's "Guide to Drawing From Life" and trying not to lose focus and watch Lost or check image boards.

Spent the last few hours using the same lines in different sizes as Ren's head to make different things, and I made this adorable guy.

Then started on the first part of Bridgman's and have spent the last hour el oh el'ing at myself. I can't wait to get past the part where all of my non cartoony drawings look like a five year old drew them. Until then at least they are humorous.
